To get a marine trailer registration, provide the following:
- A completed business license personnel list (Form K-26)
- A completed marine dealer trailer registration application (Form K-164)
- A clear photocopy of all owners' drivers' licenses
- A clear photocopy of a Connecticut sales tax permit from the state Department of Revenue Services
- If the business has a trade name, you’ll need to submit a trade name certificate from the Town Clerk's office
- If the business is a corporation or limited liability corporation (LLC), you’ll need to submit a certificate of existence form from the Secretary of the State's office
- Corporations and LLCs must also complete a certificate of business status and agent for service form (Form K-198)
Fees for marine trailer registration
Two-year marine trailer registration fee: $105, payable by check made out to “DMV”
