Description
Section 4-87 of the General Statutes requires Finance Advisory Committee approval for transfers to or from any specific appropriation of a sum or sums in any one fiscal year of over $175,000 or ten percent of any specific appropriation, whichever is less. With respect to the Board of Regents for Higher Education, section 10a-8(b) of the General Statutes requires Finance Advisory Committee approval for transfers to or from any specific appropriation of a sum or sums in any one fiscal year of over $50,000 or ten percent of any specific appropriation, whichever is less.
Section 4-93 of the General Statutes requires that the legislative members of the FAC and the Office of Fiscal Analysis be furnished an agenda for each meeting at least seven calendar days prior to the meeting. In order to meet this statutory mandate, all requests for FAC action must be received by OPM in sufficient time for analysis and action.
